Job Title: Assistant Sales Manager – Health Sales Reporting To: Cluster Development Manager (CDM) / Branch Manager (BM) Department: Sales & Marketing – Health Vertical (HV) Location: Branch Office (As assigned) Timings: Monday to Saturday | 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM Job Summary The Assistant Sales Manager – Health Sales is responsible for driving business growth by recruiting and managing agents, generating leads, enhancing customer service, and meeting monthly sales targets. This role is focused on promoting the company’s health insurance products through agent networks and roadshows within the assigned geography. Responsibilities Agent Management Recruit, train, and manage insurance agents from the open market Drive activation and productivity among agents Manage the complete agent life cycle Business Development Generate business through agents, events, roadshows, and local tie-ups Develop and execute engagement programs and incentive schemes Target housing societies and retail customers for product promotion Sales and Target Achievement Ensure achievement of assigned sales targets on a monthly basis Maintain high conversion ratios and minimal discrepancies Training and Support Provide product training and support to agents Coordinate between agents and internal teams to resolve queries Customer Service and Compliance Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction Adhere to company processes and compliance standards Key Relationships External : Insurance Marketing Firms (Life, Health, Mutual Funds) Housing societies and retail customers Internal: Sales, Operations, Finance, Human Capital (HR), Underwriting, and Claims teams Competencies Self-motivated and proactive Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic understanding of insurance products (Health/Life/General) Client acquisition and retention ability Customer-focused approach Capable of cross-functional coordination Educational Qualification and Experience Education: Graduate (mandatory) Experience : Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience may apply for entry-level roles For Sales Manager or Senior Sales Manager roles, 2–5 years of relevant experience in agency sales is preferred Preferred Industry Background Health Insurance Life Insurance General Insurance NBFC (with willingness to handle agency sales) Other Benefits Monthly performance-based incentives Reimbursements for local conveyance and mobile allowance
